The Skyhooks device was invented in 1999 by Inventor and Business Owner Marco A. Parrilla.  The device was granted a US patent number on April 11, 2006.  Mr. Parrilla is the owner of Skyhooks USA and PTS Enterprises of Ohio; DBA: Parrilla’s Tree Service.  Mr. Parrilla is a Service Disabled, Gulf War, Veteran (Army – Sergeant E5) whose vision is to stimulate Northeast Ohio’s economy by creating job opportunities for veterans and to create an awareness of the importance of health and fitness after military service.

The Skyhooks device was designed to maximize the use of a complete workout system in areas where space is limited and an exposed I-beam is available. Skyhooks most important and unique fastening feature is the built-in wrenching system that tightens the unit and stabilizes it - allowing no structural stress to the I-beam.
